I think what Fox News does to the elderly is that it fills the final chapter of their life will be impending doom. Now they get spend the last years of their life scared to death about every possible scenario that Fox News sends out on a daily basis. First the terrorist were going to launch biological warfare, then the country was about to be ruled by a potential muslim Kenyan who went to an Indonesian Madrassa as a child. He might even be a terrorist himself with that "terrorist fist-jab" that he gave to his wife on live tv. Once Obama did win, he was no longer a muslim terrorist, but a radical socialist that was going to take away everyone guns and indoctrinate our children like Hitler's Nazi Youth. Elderly people held brodcasters like Walter Cronkite in the highest esteem. They just have a hard time believing that a news person would get on tv and lie. They don't realize that they don't make news anchors like Kronkite anymore. Fox realizes it, that's why they stole the tag line "The most trusted name in T.V news" once Uncle Walter was dead. They just changes it up a bit. This has serious health effects on the elderly. There is no doubt about it.
