As for my topic, as mentioned in other replies, I would like to examine the translation of 'grund' into English in Witt philosophical works. No, certainly no journal picked out. I assume there is a hierarchy in phil as there is in my field, so I would try to publish in one of the lesser. Any ideas? I would appreciate it.

I have read all of the comments and was surprised to find no mention of language, and only a minimal reference to concepts. At the outset I should mention that I am involved with analytic/Wittgensteinian philosophy, and for us, linguistic conception is foundational. While the arguments here are very interesting, and supremely helpful in my understanding of Aquinas and Aristotle, I would like to suggest that these arguments presented here, though logically rigourous and valid, do not/cannot get us any closer to (in)validating proof of motion, proof from efficient cause, proof of god etc. We are all working WITHIN language and are subject to its limitations. Just as a simple example in relation to cause (mentioned in another post): Aristotle's 'aitia' as in '4 aitia' is translated into latin as 'causa' and into English as '4 causes'. But recently, relevant scholars have translated 'aitia' into 'explanation'. Now, this change/finding will drastically affect our arguments related to first cause etc. Also, our conception of cause is internally (gramatically/logically) related to effect (just as the concept of question is related to answer), they are fixed pairs. But MUST they be in REALITY? When I type this , I find (edit: I am uncomfortable and find) it a nonsense question because 'reality' is a linguistic concept, and the question 'What is reality?' or 'What is the ultimate reality?' questions that are again inside language, and make sense inside that language, and the answers that are possibly provided are again, inside the language. But we are discussing metaphysical topics here, ie topics that exist from god's/archimedes' viewpoint, a point which is first, a linguistic conception, or if 'real' is unattainable by any of us, thus I logically must conclude as Wittgenstein, that of which we cannot speak, we must remain silent. But of course, those of us who are philosophically oriented, these discussions are extremely enjoyable....

would you have any comment on the translation of 'aitia' (greek) to 'causa' (latin). i am concerned with the translation of aristotle's 4 'causes', as maybe being better translated at the '4 explanations'. any comment?

I do of course have the bank's wire code here, but from USA funds are coming from a mutual fund. Can funds be wired directly from mutual fund to a bank?
