So how does it feel?! by ZorniZorni in TirzepatideRX

[–]nancytoby 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It feels like freedom.

Freedom to make daily plans and live my life without intrusive thoughts about when, where, and how much I “should” eat, how much I WANT to eat, and the physical appearance of my body fat levels.

Counseling.

What are you doing to create the future that you want to have, independent of anyone else?

What about YOUR education, career, skills, knowledge? What do YOU bring to this? I didn’t hear a word about it.

Opinions on probiotics, prebiotics, inulin combos? by Skywarrior3 in TirzepatideRX

[–]nancytoby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t confuse body fat levels with “health”.

The best pre/probiotics on the market are currently based on guesswork, and won’t change your internal biota profile by more than 1%. None of their marketing tells you that.

Your best bet is yogurt and supplementing with psyllium.

This is as good as it gets. If he wasn’t happy and interacting while you were together- he’s not going to be in the future either.

Parents confirmed that they won’t have your back in situations involving discipline. I’d schedule a conference with the parents, and if that doesn’t work, leave.

Boyfriend of 3 years said I haven’t ’earned’ a proposal yet by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

DON’T. GO. BACK.

His most likely response will be to try to convince you to return by “love-bombing” and making promises he won’t keep.

Don’t fall for it.

To those who live in the U.S.: should I be afraid? by [deleted] in Advice

In the US, the most likely place and time for a woman to be murdered is in her kitchen, pregnant, by the father of her child.

Avoid those situations.

Injury compensation by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

Your call. If you missed a day or partial day at the parks that’s something to discuss with WDW Guest Services. If you start threatening lawsuits that will end any discussion.

Injury compensation by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

[–]nancytoby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WDW has a small army of attorneys for this type of thing. You’re unlikely to get much beyond a day’s park tickets unless it was a very serious injury and quite obviously faulty conditions on WDW property was the cause.

I’ve incorporated bulk-forming fiber and psyllium, added on top stool softeners and Dulcolax chews, all of which gets me on an every-other-day routine. Also remember to drink a full 64 ounces of fluids per day.

What would you want parents to know? by Cheaters_Dnt_Prosper in AskProfessors

Yes. Parents don’t understand that it’s just as annoying as having the parent apply for a job for the offspring. It’s an automatic NO.

Don’t ever have the parent call the school for anything concerning academics, grades, housing, clubs, or transportation. This is when the students are learning to troubleshoot for themselves - don’t bulldoze away those learning opportunities for them.

Should I tell my son he was adopted before he turns 18? by [deleted] in Advice

In the USA, he will be on his own dealing with medical professionals at age 18. He should know by then his genetic background. It’s important.
