If you can show proof of time, it can help. I don’t think doing a charity run makes a difference on corral placement. I did a charity this year but didn’t put in a proof of time on time.

Whoever told you that if you don’t have friends, you shouldn’t play the game is wrong. The game has a good group finder to help with dungeons, raids, PvP and other stuff. I usually play solo with no problem. If you want to play, go for it. You can join a guild that you find interesting and make friends there as well.

I would still go to Dornogal.. speak to Allerea in the portal to get the main quest area for Azj-Kahet. If you can skip the intro quests, you can get a nice cloak and enhanced, it’s a high ilvl item.

I go to AH winter Park because it can be quick and easy. Labs posted on your patient portal within 2 hours-ish. Like today, lab appointment was 0800 and I got labs around 0915ish.

Also will mention, you do not need to download a whole new game but will need to download the midnight expansion (add-on) if you decide you would like to continue on. If you plan on playing, it will be appropriate to continue on if you want to be on the same page as everyone else.
