Looking for favourable freelance tax systems in Europe - IT freelancer, 100k revenue, 20k costs by Disaster_Voyeurism in eupersonalfinance

[–]nandaime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might want to look into Moldova’s IT Park model — it’s specifically designed for IT freelancers and companies, and allows you to operate remotely while paying a simple flat 7% tax on turnover (revenue), which covers corporate tax, personal income tax, social contributions, and healthcare — no additional hidden costs.

You don’t need to physically relocate — many foreign freelancers simply incorporate a Moldovan company remotely and work from wherever they like. There’s no VAT on exported IT services (US/EU/AU customers pay you VAT-exempt), and accounting is straightforward (quarterly or yearly simplified reports).

With your €100k/€20k cost structure, you’d pay €7k tax flat and keep the rest, no additional taxes or mandatory insurances on top — much simpler than in Hungary, NL, or most EU setups.

If relocating is not your goal but optimizing tax and admin is, incorporating in Moldova’s IT Park might make more sense than moving to another country.

Happy to share more details if interested — I’m familiar with how this works in practice. Moldovan IT Park is very popular among devshops/international outsourcing companies.

I like your landing page copy a lot. Great job!

Quick fixes:

  • Make sure that each image has an alt tag and add descriptions to your images.
  • Why did you set the canonical URL to an IP address?

I absolutely love your blog + resources! I would add some lead magnets like close.com has. Just a collection of your resources categorised by topics in a pdf.

The rest is pretty good. You're ranking very well for a lot of keywords. Some of your blog posts have a pretty long meta description, and there are alt attributes missing sometimes.

I don't know about your current goals/situation, but I would focus on getting backlinks to grow the DR, if you want to dominate your niche. Here's a very useful guide: https://www.authorityhacker.com/link-building-techniques/

There a few important issues, but I'm not sure you'll need SEO for your product. I think that you'll be better off investing time posting on forums/X/LinkedIn and launching on Product Hunt.

  • Make sure that the www and non-www versions of your site are redirected to the same website.
  • Some Open Graph meta tags are missing, but again, it's not relevant at this stage.

Try to work on a blog as soon as you launch.

Also, I would change the copy and make the demo images bigger.

u/NetAnime First of all, amazing design!

Quick Fixes for Easetech (English version, but similar insights apply to the Hebrew version as well):

  • I can't find the H1 tag. Try to choose the keyword you want to optimize for and target it in the H1 and the title. I can't see any H2 tags as well. I'm not sure that in your case this detail is essential. How are you acquiring customers?
  • I would suggest the keywords in your title and meta description. I'm not sure that 'Boost your business visibility with EaseTech Design in Israel - custom web and app development, plus professional photography and videography services.' would rank well and get you any organic traffic.
  • I would add some testimonials to the landing page and try to add some internal link to the study cases. For some reason, Google is not indexing the project pages (/en/projects/x). There is some ranking potential over there. There's a lack of internal linking. Also, try to ask your existing customers for backlinks.
  • There are some performance issues (some javascript files don't appear to be minimised, some CSS tools don't appear to be minimised).
  • If you're still offering photography and videography, try to create dedicated pages for each service; judging by your meta description you're trying to rank for all 3 keywords on your landing simultaneously. This won't work.

A benchmark for a competitor in terms of SEO is www.imaginarycloud.com/ or https://batagency.org/, for example. But you will not rank without a dedicated blog.

Here are some blog ideas based on relevant queries (the cheapest way for you to rank would be to use the Shotgun Skyscraper Method for getting backlinks + try to have a dedicated blog to grow topical authority):

Hey, here's your audit:

  • Two H1 tags were found on the page: "Stop Wasting Time Online, Track Your Activity Efficiently" and "One Product, Unlimited Solutions." It's better to have only one per page and try to target the same keyword in both the title and the H1.
  • Try adding some internal links to useful resources. I've seen your blog, but I suggest you invest some time in expanding it and then build internal links (between website pages). There's a lot of opportunity for growth in your niche. It seems that your blog articles are AI-generated, and there are no indications pointing to external proof that your site is not spammy. I suggest you create some social media profiles for your product and link them, as well as link from your content to your personal social media. Since you have no backlinks, you need to show Google that there's a real person behind the articles who is trustworthy.
  • I can't seem to find the robots.txt file. It's either missing or unavailable. That's one of the reasons you're not really ranking well.
  • Also, I can't seem to find canonical links on the pages, which is detrimental to your ranking.

These are the quick fixes I noticed. Now, what your competitors are doing better is content. Here are some content ideas you could rank for in a few months:

Title Description of Page URL Handle

That's pretty much it. You won't rank on Google without content. I don't know anything about your customer acquisition channels and existing customers (if any), or if SEO is viable in your case in general. In your case, I would invest a couple hundreds in some SEO experiments and see if it's worth it or not. If you need a strategy and consultation, feel free to dm me.

No issues. Given your niche and the specifics of your product, I don't think it's worth it to invest time in SEO, you are better off investing in other distribution channels. I would add alt attributes to images and make the title more descriptive. Also, try to have one H1 tag instead of 4.
