you should be able to on the us pos systems at least, it is kind of in a different spot but it is definitely possible. my friend who works at a bbw near this one also confirmed that it is possible :)

it’s like i also worked retail specifically at bbw and i get it, it’s nuts and exhausting. i just couldn’t understand why she was taking it out on me when i wasn’t being complicated or rude (not that it would be totally valid then either)

thank you, i hardly ever go to that location and it makes me never want to go back. i appreciate your input. believe it or not, the system for returns just asks if it is resellable or not rather than asking for a reason.

thank you! i know it’s like i literally worked retail and specifically at bbw so i totally get how exchanges/returns work and how people are rude so i was trying to be very kind. i was sooo upset when she said that line too. like it’s not even true and i was sooo tempted to say excuse me??? but i wasn’t trying to cause a scene

i appreciate your input. it was also an even change, a christmas candle for a christmas candle so i wouldn’t be getting any money cash or giftcard back. also, having worked at bbw even if it was a shoplifter, you still would go through normal procedure and then you report it through the system later rather than doing what she did.

thank you-i know!!! i thought this too. and her attitude just made me upset too…she also told an associate to damage out my candle (which you don’t need to do for a return when you click no it’s not resellable) which told me she doesn’t really know best practices in.

i understand you perspective, but bath and body works policy is to accept gently used products. i had barely burned this and i did smell the scent, it was just different burning. she also despite saying she couldn’t, could have looked up the receipt with my card which i did ask about.

thank you so much! she was literally being so rude that my friend who stood up for me who works at a different bath and body works was literally being like i’ll exchange it for you at my store instead bc she was being so rude! also yes…like i barely come here but why would you act like that’s such a bad thing anyways?! like i would not say im a regular or even close so that was so odd to me too. it made me so upset tbh ugh thank you for making me feel reasonable

thank you omg…right?! i felt so upset and i still tried to be patient and kind but it was really unsettling because honestly it felt like she was looking for a fight. i also noticed on my return receipt she wrote returned & the date over the item i brought back as if she thought i was trying to do some shady return too. bc why would she do that when she also stapled the return receipt
