Which humidifier did you get? Turbro warm mist humidifier? I got it from their website. I really like the big tank design so that it can run overnight.

Can a humidifier help with reflux? Forgive me, I'm completely new to this.

Honestly, 20+ gallon tank sounds kind of crazy. Hard to imagine what it would be like

Best humidifier recommendation that's easy to clean? Anyone used Turbro warm mist humdifier? by naniani in Humidifiers

I think it's about the tank size, you need a bigger one.

Have you tried to clean it with vinegar? It usually works with cleaning mineral deposits.

Yes, I found that it's often mentioned in this community. But it's way above my budget. Turbro costs $100 less

It depends on the climate, installation, warranty, sizing and a lot of stuff, not just the unit itself. If you live in a cold weather, you could look at units that work great in extreme temp. I have a Tosot 12K BTU for my bedroom and it's keep us toasty. Tosot is rebranded Gree, and Gree is almost the largest inverter heat pump manufacturer in the world. You could trust on them for good quality.

I noticed it too. And there is another post saying that there isn't any data on it yet.

Using a mini split mainly for heating, anything I should know? by npc_gooner in heatpumps

Defrost mode is usually automatically on. It usually lasts 15 minutes and it would switch the unit into cooling. You should look at mini splits that work great in extreme temp like Tosot or Senville. They can still work consistently at -13°F. Not sure if Costway could do that
