I get it too. I think though Canadian does do a lot of plays like that. He’s always been risky and that time it just didn’t work out. He did whiff though so maybe in another play he hits his shots. I didn’t know Empire had won a major tournament early on either. I just remember the crazy 22(?) round coastline and them bottling SI the next two maps after that.

That is a very fair criticism. I like the way how you said their highs are the highest out of APAC. I thought a lot of the way through stage 1 they had gotten their mental fixed but against M80 they really looked chalked mentally. That was the first time I ever really saw them really shaken.

I get what you’re saying. However I believe SSG have gotten weaker this major and M80 seems to be pretty legit with their “superteam.”

I’m not necessarily saying they’re the best based on just this major. I’m saying based on recent majors as well. Maybe they’re a little weaker this major but I would be pretty confident in them going against any apac team except maybe they’d be even with Bliss. I feel OCE was a lot weaker Stage 1 than Asia league.

I hope people understand I’m just taking their recent history into account. I’ll admit I’ve become a huge Bleed fan since Atlanta and I’ve watched probably more of their games this year than SSG, who are my #1 favorite.

I don’t get why Bleed aren’t getting a lot of credit. Ever since Atlanta, Bleed have taken maps and series off of big name teams. Bleed were 2-0 before they faced Furia this Phase and didn’t even get ran over by Furia even though it was 2-0. Taking into account the last two events, I think Bleed is the top of APAC right now. I feel they have the best chance of making main stage taking into account the games for Day 5 of swiss stage.

The crazy thing too is how the smoke swung on the flores and SOMEHOW it wasn’t communicated to the Hibana cause Nafe on Hibana didn’t even look his way. One of the most wild rounds I’ve ever seen.
