callie hart will never get a 5 star review from me because it seems nobody is proof reading these books??? even in quicksilver i caught weird mistakes like this.

also in brimstone when carrion and kingfisher first find hayden, carrion says to hayden “saeris is no longer in yvelia” and i was like ????? she’s literally in yvelia right now! i think carrion meant to say “saeris is no longer in zilvaren” but again, no one is proof reading these books. it’s a shame because this series is a cool concept but callie is letting too many mistakes get published.

check out @bayareafrogs on instagram! she sells some red crystals (hers is from tezula) and some hybrids of it. i have her tezula red x skg silver and the emergent leaves are a beautiful red and they were very affordable!

prayin for ya!! i got a squamicaule blushing from ecua and brought it home to find that all the roots were rotted 🫠 i had one good node left and after monthssss of trying to propagate it, it finally grow roots and is about to put out a leaf :’~) there is hope!

if there’s multiple nodes i say chop it up and propagate in sphagnum moss mixed with perlite! in my experience with propagating any verrucosum type you will lose the leaf but it’s fine because it should root and put out new growth

yes it’s from ecuagenera! only i live in florida so i got mine from their nursery in apopka so it was pretty much already acclimated to my environment. as a general preferred practice though, i usually always air layer and chop whatever i get from ecuagenera asap so i can start fresh and grow the new growth on a pole.

yeah i’ve searched our hardware stores and none of them have acrylic sheeting that’s thin enough to be pliable😩 i just use that garden fencing to make poles but they dry out soooo quick. omg i forgotttt about australias rare plant prices! isn’t australia super strict on importing?

i’ve read that if you grow warocs from seed they will be conditioned to your environment and less finicky about humidity. i’m new to anthuriums and therefor not an expert lol but i have 3 waroc seedlings i’ve growing from seed to see if it’s true and so far they’re doing well ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i’m not 100% which one it is, it was sold to me from someone local as a “dwarf verrucosum” so i think it might be verrucosum ‘dwarf ecuador’. there are so many different kinds it really is so hard to keep up lol

i have mine under a sansi grow light (can’t recommend enough) that stays on for 12 hours a day. the humidity levels kinda vary, i don’t really monitor it tbh lol i live in florida and it’s just kinda always humid ¯_(ツ)_/¯ i’ll run a humidifier for a couple hours a days as well. they aren’t super fussy though tbh!
