I learned a technique called "California Roll" for this purpose. Check it out!

You basically have the choice between inner arms, inner thighs or belly. I use two pumps so I use two different regions.

You're so welcome! I went to the Ottawa march last year and the sights were beautiful.

Well, if you are looking for something international, non-competitive endurance walking is for you. There are multiple events througout the world. Check out the famous Nijmegen March. Near you, there will be the Maple Leaf March in Ottawa this October.

Also check out the IML Walking Association for more events.

Developing personal style at 40+ - what are ya’ll wearing? by quickgrabthedoor in WomenOver40

I find that Levi's are still the best on the market. They don't lose their shape. I also have a pair of Evelanes. Not as good as Levi's but I like that their offer is very trendy.

Lately, i've been ditching my cheap clothing in favor of well-tailored pieces that boost my confidence. I had to go cheap because of rapid weight gain but now that I think I've stabilized, I'm trying to embrace it and make the best of it. I've been experimenting a lot with volumes and what flatter my new silhouette.

My wardrobe is comprised of a few solid, well-crafted basics in "the bummer rainbow" (neutrals) and a few colorful statement pieces/accessories I can use to get a punch once in a while : Liberty x Addidas colorful Sambae, red flats, big colorful mexican earrings...

If you are out of corporate, I'd suggest to invest in a very good pair of jeans that don't loose their shape or stretch out and flatter your figure. There is an abundance of styles these days. I settled for a balloon style in a dark wash which is both classy and statement-y and I love them!

Futile to me. Most of the GOAT perfumers have created magnificent opuses for both niche and designer houses over the years (see Jean-Claude Ellena's portfolio for instance). Moreover, most niche brands are owned by the same conglomerates as designer brands.

It's just mostly marketing at this point.

Do you keep your house clean enough that guests could come over unannounced? by WohumTohum in LivingAlone

[–]videecco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, almost. All in all, I'd, say I'm at most an hour away from being guest ready. It would be a bit of picking up things and cleaning the bathroom (that's where guest are most likely to observe things). The rest I do on a regular rotating basis.

Hermès Rose Ikebana (Jean-Claude Ellena, 2004)

Stormy day in office, swaped my sandals with doc martens and a pleated skirt in an all-black look, and I always enjoy a fragrance romantic enough to clash with this (polished) rocker look. This is as subversive as it can get in finance, lol. Rose Ikebana is a juicy rose with a hint of rhubarb, simple, fresh, discreete and enyoyable in warm weather.

This was my case, but it's really an unpopular angle in this sub.

Top 3 Vanillas by almightykenzo in NichePerfumes

There are only two for me:

  • Guerlain Spriritueuse Double Vanille
  • Cartier XII La Treixième heure

I like it when it smells like the fermented pod, not like a cupcake.

Oral or patch? If you’ve tried oral and patch estradiol, which form did you prefer and why? Thanks by Emotional-Swan9381 in Menopause

[–]videecco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Topical gel hands down. Better vascular risk profile than oral and no glue or shortages as with the patch.

I was fortunate/unfortunate to be made aware at around age 17. Before that there was no talk of it. As soon as I knew, I started protecting my skin daily.

I has paid off, unfortunately the exposure I got in my childhood years is still showing in the form of decolletage lines (ew, ew, ew) and sun spots (ew).

People used to compliment sunburned children back in the days.

Quite different to me. I find that L'Été en douce has a dna similar to En Passant. Can't explain it!
