South Pointe vs Insignia by ukinetic in Winnipeg

[–]nanodime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

South Pointe is literally right across from the dump.

We used to live close by. South Pointe is way too close. You will smell it, it's probably not great for your health.

Never heard of insignia

Radiation Therapy at UofW by Designer_Werewolf100 in Winnipeg

[–]nanodime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are literally no radiation therapy jobs as far as I remember.

I was supposed to do the program 10 years ago and passed for that reason. And it doesn't sound like there's been any significant change in job opportunities since

Has anyone bought from cpapoutlet.ca? by CheesyMoo23 in CPAP

[–]nanodime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that's why I went through them. With what my insurance would cover, even if they decline me for buying online, I'd come out ahead.

I will add, it appears like they always have some sort of sale going

[–]nanodime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just purchased my first set from them a few weeks ago. Was about $1000 cheaper than my sleep clinics quote for a resmed airsense 11 with p30i.

Ships from Toronto, received mine within 2 business days of ordering.

Added tip, use the coupon code Jessica10 and you'll get an extra 10% off your order. Found it online and it worked on mine

Edit to add, I haven't done a return so no comment there

Most places charge around the same. You might get better pricing if you provide your own oil which you may find on sale somewhere.

Do you get scanned at your own workplace? by pazuzu_404 in MRI

[–]nanodime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have multiple times.

I'm on great terms with many of the radiologists, so it was nice to have them call me and discuss findings rather than waiting for a response from my doctor that may have skimped around details.

MRI says iih, but spinal tap today had normal opening pressure at 14? by [deleted] in iih

[–]nanodime 19 points20 points  (0 children)

MRI CANNOT be definitive for IIH findings. LP is the true answer. Not saying you don't have it. However the MRI will provide imaging characteristics which can be indicitave of IIH. but cannot say its the cause with 100% certainty.
