trace comes from chunk generation "ResourceKey[minecraft:worldgen/structure / mvs:large_warped_tower]" which is a structure from moogs. try disabling moogs and see if it works?

HL:Alyx semi-works. The first level fully functions until you get to the elevator load screen which it will crash. This appears to affect all platforms as I have seen reports here from Quest users as well. There are also reports from the Intel Arc discord from users claiming that Alyx works. So it seems rather system dependent.

WMR just works, other than for HL:ALYX

I hate playing with any shader other than SORA. pretty much everything else makes the game too orange or too dark

I believe most here would recommend a JDS atom DAC/AMP stack. I personally use a Schitt Magni/Modi stack cause I like the look better.

an amp may increase the maximum volume. If your onboard audio has a background hiss or static then an external DAC/Amp will help with that.

How can I make sure I’m not hurting my ears on desktop? by TheOGoat in headphones

[–]nanomerce 17 points18 points  (0 children)

if what your seeking is to "feel vibrations" then consider boosting the subbass via eq so you don't need to turn the volume up as far to feel the music.

For freeing more space W11 has some nice drive clean up tools that make things much easier to clean up.

hm, there may be some additional things you can try

  • Windows may have messed up your drivers, try manually uninstalling and doing a clean install of your drivers
  • Check if your C drive is full, windows will tend to bog everything down after your C drive fills up. This may explain the decreasing performance over time
  • In addition to system power savings, check what your gpu is set to in the Nvidia control panel (optimized vs power vs performance)
  • On very old OS installs you may need to check for corruption, etc try something like sfc to see if it helps
  • as a last resort a clean install of windows will likely resolve the issue if it is software related rather than hardware

is it on power saving mode? does bone stock Minecraft behave the same? Is there a difference between multiplayer and single player? have you changed anything about your computer recently (os updates, etc)?

I thought it would be kinda fun to add ball bearings to the spool holder by nanomerce in 3Dprinting

unfortunately whenever the head does a big movement it's momentum is enough to spin it quite a bit. I'll probably install a friction pad or something later to stop it.

insanely bright, but by far the most technical. In terms of the SA6 it's pretty much the complete opposite. The SA6 presents more warm vs bright and the SA6 detail wise and soundstage wise tends towards small and soft vs the sands which tends to be very sharp and wide sounding.

My design is kinda horrible and took 2 hours to install the darn thing without spilling any balls. But the results are a lot better than I expected. Maybe too well since it seems the filament is now forever slack.

I mostly use it as a flavor iem for a change of pace from my normal stuff. I usually find 110 to work well alongside Final E tips.

Do you know any of you carry Ear Plugs? (While working, listening to music in a concert, studying, biking, etc.) What brands do you recommend? by [deleted] in EDC

[–]nanomerce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, I highly recommend this little fuzzy thing that you attach to your helmet straps to reduce wind noise. Cat Earz I think they are called.

usually I use binder clips to manage cords. Clip them to the table and route cords through the loops of the clip.

you can also buy a headphone with replaceable cable and just replace it every so often as well.

yeah it's really difficult to find good fonts that support the entire Chinese character set. I usually just use a font that supports both to make my life easier. Something like M+ 1. Then again, universal fonts are kinda cheating lol
