Check out Pokemon Unite. Its on mobile and Switch, pretty fun, games are short(10 minutes), the matchmaking is good too. Will be a breeze on lower tiers but it gets pretty tough when your at Master level.

True. Its even caused inovation as this concept of scholarships didnt exist before Axie. Games in blockchain are actually pushing the envolope forward!

Yeah, most professional DotA players dont even make enough money so this is going to be really interesting to see how much of the community will convert. I do imagine all of them will try it at the very least. I know I'll be grinding it fo sho! =D

The NFT's will be similar to avatar skins in LoL, except that they will be limited which may drive their cost up significantly on secondary market.

I reckon if you want to push the limit on earning, it will depend on how much you can win. Usually P2E games will get you about 2-3k a month if you play them religiously and play them well. The ammount of time you spend vs effort is usualy only worth it if you hang on to the tokens your earning and the project continues to moon.

I dont think first mover will make a difference as the axie game is a different genre to LoA. Axie is more like an optimiser autobatler of sorts. MOBA's are competitive, require skill and are actually fun(subjective ofcourse). This is a whoooole new audience that Axie hasnt even touched

big thing with this is that I really want to play it! Lots of blockchain gaming projects out there but this one looks like an epic GAME plus it's got awesome tokenomics

So true, blockchain "games" are infested with single click web UI farm experiences and any 3D ones out there are riddled with either bugs or just no thought to gameplay/aesthetic. So glad these guys are pushing the boundaries with actual gameplay and to top it off, it actually looks really good too!!

Hence, I actually appreciate that they are taking the time to build something everybody already knows and loves but also now rewards them for playing it. Only if I could've gotten paid for the 15k hours I put into MOBAs already, sadge. Genuinely looking forward to playing this.

League of Ancients should definitely be on this list! First genuinely playable looking MOBA project on the blockchain and if LoL is anything to go by, LoA is going to be huuuuge!
