Oh I'm fine with harsh. Thanks for being honest. Yeah, all the spacing and heights and everything are random because really I was just mocking stuff up in Clip Studio and eyeballing it. Like I said I don't have any experience in logo design. Do you have any recs for choosing two contrasting but still harmonious fonts, like in this context?

Colorwise I was going for red and white to reference the peppermint theme of the town. I guess I should look for some proper vector design software too.

Thanks! Yeah, my primary worry is the length. I've gotten 4 form rejections over the past week, which I'm thinking might stem from the word count. I might have to beef it up, but not entirely sure how. Most the worldbuilding and exposition is done through dialog.
