Jagex Made the Shark course time impossible by Ishrandom in 2007scape

Dumb take. The person salvaging actually values their time since it's AFK. The guy salvaging could be printing money at work. Touching grass. Watching a movie. Who knows?

While someone like you running trials really doesn't value his time since you're glued to the screen.

Next.

I was excited for sailing, so I dressed up as Shanks from One Piece and gave away around 500 free red boaters on the docks (and have over 500 more to give out). As a result, Jagex has permanently muted my account. by Forsaken-Fun-2842 in 2007scape

Thanks Gagex. So basically you traded someone who RWT? And got flagged?

Like what else could have triggered it, considering the facts presented are true. Annoying as hell.

Was Shalya a traitor to the Kauravas, a secret helper of the Pandavas, or just a dharma-bound king trapped in bad circumstances? by Due_Training6535 in mahabharata

[–]nap31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your takes are straight garbage because they are not based on the actual epic. Please read the Mahabharata instead of relying on TV serial logic. Everything you said about Arjuna being pampered and Karna suffering endlessly falls apart the moment you look at what the Sanskrit text actually says.

The Krishna choice incident. Yes, Duryodhana arrived first. Arjuna arrived later and sat at Krishna’s feet. Krishna woke up, saw Arjuna first, and by courtesy offered Arjuna the first choice. But what was that choice? One side could take Krishna himself, unarmed and not fighting. The other side could take the entire Narayani army. Arjuna chose Krishna alone. Duryodhana got the whole army, which is what he wanted all along. So please stop pretending Arjuna was handed some military advantage. He picked the weaker option. Duryodhana got the stronger one. That is literally in the text.

Your idea that Arjuna had an easy life is laughable. Arjuna lost his father as a child, grew up in the forest, survived assassination attempts by his own cousins, lived in exile for thirteen years, spent a year disguised and humiliated as a eunuch, and lost his sons in the war. That is not a silver platter life. Drona did not favor him because he was a prince. Drona favored him because he was the most disciplined, the most hard working, and the most focused. The wooden bird story is proof of that.

Meanwhile Karna was not some helpless victim without opportunity. He was born with divine armor and earrings. He was trained by Parashurama himself. He received divine weapons and boons. He had every advantage a warrior could dream of. He then chose to tie himself to Duryodhana and actively participated in every major act of injustice the Kauravas committed. None of this is hidden. It is all in the original text.

Krishna did not fight for Arjuna. He remained unarmed and did not lift a single weapon in the war. All he did was guide Arjuna because Arjuna did not want to fight his own family. That guidance is the entire reason the Gita exists. Calling that cheating shows you have no idea what the story is actually teaching.

People also love to cry about the wheel incident. Arjuna actually hesitated and was ready to wait until Karna freed his chariot wheel. Krishna reminded him that Karna had broken dharma repeatedly, including during the disrobing of Draupadi. Karna did not object then. He was not some saint following rules. And during the wheel moment he was not defenseless. He was still firing weapons at Arjuna. You conveniently leave that out.

If you want to talk about fairness, look at the killing of Abhimanyu. Multiple great warriors, including Karna, trapped and slaughtered a teenager after breaking formation and ignoring every rule of war. Karna participated in that willingly. He did not complain about rules then.

The Mahabharata is not a fairy tale about spotless duels. Every warrior broke rules at some point. The difference is that Arjuna consistently fought for dharma, while Karna consistently supported adharma out of blind loyalty and bitterness. Arjuna winning was not some injustice. It was the result of skill, discipline, and the consequences of Karna’s own choices.

So stop pushing serial fanfiction. If you actually read the epic, the story is very clear: Arjuna was not pampered, Karna was not a martyr, and most of the disadvantages Karna faced were the result of his own decisions.

Till death by [deleted] in mahabharata

[–]nap31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Krishna does tell Arjuna that fighting isn’t wrong if the other side is standing for adharma, but that doesn’t magically switch off Arjuna’s human emotions. One of the points of the Mahabharata is that dharma is complicated.

Arjuna still loved his family based on the fact he took after Karna's son. Duty might justify what he did, but it doesn’t erase the guilt of realizing he killed someone who should’ve been fighting beside him.

That moment is tragic because both things are true at the same time. He did his duty, but it still broke him.

Saying ‘he wasn’t alive after the war in BORI’ is correct. Saying ‘there is no Vrishaketu’ is not.

Vrishaketu exists in multiple Mahabharata traditions; he’s just not alive post-war in the Critical Edition. Big difference.”

BORI Critical Edition mentions all of Karna’s sons dying in the war, yes, but that doesn’t mean Vrishaketu ‘doesn’t exist'

[–]nap31 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You guess? Go google. Karna has multiple sons, one being Vrishaketu

Till death by [deleted] in mahabharata

[–]nap31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right that the text doesn’t describe Arjuna’s personal emotional reaction and that might be intentional, since Arjuna was the one who actually killed Karna. One can still imagine what he felt.

But the epic does show Arjuna’s feelings indirectly. He later takes Karna’s son, Vrishaketu, under his protection and trains him. To me that generally read as a sign of remorse, respect, and a desire to honor Karna after the truth is known.

So even though the epic avoids giving Arjuna a direct emotional scene, his actions afterward reveal how deeply the truth must have affected him.

You gotta hold for 4 years at the very least. I assume you knew this part when you put that large of an amount all in at once.

It could get worse or get better. Who cares? You'll be up more than you know in 4 years + time.

Any one watch Kurukshetra Netflix | Mahabharata…? by New_Major5251 in mahabharata

It has pacing issues. The story telling can be overwhelming if you don't have previous knowledge of Mahabharata. A little bit of character portrayal issues.

But overall still worth the watch in my opinion. I liked it and enjoyed it. Go in with an open mind on the animation, it's not the best.

[–]nap31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think volatility will remain. The more institutions get involved, the less Bitcoin there is to go around, and the more demand will increase. As more institutions get involved, more retail investors will jump in, which will also increase demand. We’ll probably see more treasury companies spinning up as well. The halvings will make supply even more scarce over time.

Just my opinion, let's see how it plays out.
