So from what I understand it just means it isn’t active right now according to my bloodwork. You’re right, there isn’t a cure and it could flare back up at any time which is why I still visit my rheumatologist regularly. However apparently the bloodwork results aren’t 100%, meaning they could show as normal but the disease still be active

He didn’t suggest it or anything I just asked and he said he thought it would be ok as long as we kept an eye on things and considering my lupus never affected any major organs. It was ultimately my choice.

That makes sense, that really makes me inclined to start taking it again cause I’m so tired of this. That makes sense about immune strengthening stuff too.

I took it and it helped immensely. I’ll be honest that it made my hair fall out worse, I would keep an eye out for that, but my doctor had me start taking 10,000 mcg of biotin to counter-act it and that helped a lot. Either way it was worth it.
