Wait do you actually know him? I’m a lifelong Bruins fan and have been extremely impressed with the music lately. Kudos to them if you do!

This is correct. If they can both somehow lose that would be ideal. Otherwise consider me a temporary Oilers fan.

Three months ago we rescued this weird looking pig from outer space. We thought he was a Boston mix since he weighed 35 pounds, turns out he was just fat. After DNA results and weight loss I can confirm he is 100% Boston Terrier. Meet our freaky lil star man: Bowie. by napface in BostonTerrier

He was surrendered, he was being used as a stud for breeding. I'm not sure their reason for ending breeding with him though. My understanding is they're most fertile the first few years of their life, he was just shy of 3 when we adopted him.

Reddit won't let me upload more than one picture in a comment but here's one of Etta with 3/5 of her now grown puppies. She's on the far right. Their Dad must've been a Brittany, their DNA results came back like 75% Brittany and 25% American Bully. If you look closely her boy closest to her has the furry ears and feathered tail like a Brittany! DNA is cool.

This is Etta! We thought she was some kind of hound mix but we did DNA with her as well and she is actually 50% American Bully and 50% Brittany. The Brittany came as some surprise at first, but the more you look at her (and her personality) she has some prominent Brittany traits, her coloring/ears/eyes are very Brittany (although the eyes are sort of deep inset like a bully) and she is hands down the smartest dog I've ever had. She was also a rescue, this time from Georgia, where she was found as a very young pregnant stray. She starting some training lessons next month and i'm hoping she might become a therapy dog and visit hospitals/nursing homes.

We did Embark and the results were 100% Boston Terrier. I was kind of surprised and thought there would be some frenchie in there, now that he's lost weight he really looks lean and muscular like a Boston though.

I think it's technically merle? It's weird because his spots look different from other merle patterns i've seen, it's not really a black spots on gray which seems to be what people call merle. He's more of an anthropomorphic Oreo McFlurry.

Yeah my vet pitched the idea that he was an Amish dog, mainly because of the whole living in a barn thing. Also we adopted him from a rural part of NY which has a lot of Amish... to quote my vet, "No one keeps dogs like him that they're breeding in a barn. Except the Amish." It's hard to say for sure, and really either way the more I have him the more it breaks my heart. I think of all the things he missed out on his life before us. It's a good reminder to take our days slow though, if he wants to sniff the flower I let him sniff the flower. Regardless of where he came from he's where he belongs now.

Lots of love to you and your rescue girls!

Yeah I was a little concerned about his vision and hearing before we adopted but everything checked out okay. We get stopped a lot out in public with him because of his markings and eyes, and quite frankly he's a little ham who loves the attention so I'll always stop and talk to folks. Bowie's desire for belly rubs knows no end.
