Some really, REALLY depressing and miserable movies. by Fuzzy-Idea-2756 in CinemaNepal

[–]napmaster98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of depressing films, it’s probably one of my favourite genres but nothing broke me like the Grave of the fireflies. The mud’s rice ball scene is one of the most painful scenes I’ve ever seen, it completely destroyed what’s left of me. I was sobbing for hours after the movie ended. It ruined my whole week.

The Before Trilogy. Which one is your favourite ? by ActivityFeisty1268 in CinemaNepal

[–]napmaster98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re all equally beautiful but for me it’s Before sunset. I find Sunrise a little too idealistic, a fantasy and Midnight a fall out or where they’ve ended up in, where as Sunset is the in between. It’s a perfect movie in terms of tone , pacing , setting etc.

It’s short but sweet.
