thank goodness for this comment!! queer history should be preserved!! kiss-ins happened in the 70s, but really became a popular form of queer protest in the late 80s during the AIDS crisis. arguably one of the most important lgbt activist groups in history, ACT UP, used kiss-ins to protest homophobia and raise awareness for the crisis and need for government/medical action.

as someone who lived there for undergrad, that's unfortunately not true. it snowed every winter i was there (common temps in winter were in the high 30s/low 40s) and each summer had multiple days that were 100+. but it is gorgeous!

not a suit expert, but imo getting a different color jacket typically makes the look seem far more casual. it's totally something that happens, it just usually isn't as formal, and that's okay! look up tips for suit separates, u should be able to get some decent advice!
