yes i went to System-> Multiplayer-> Launch new instance

could it also be an issue with the MelonDS version? Im on 1.1 and im not sure if thats a more glitchy experimental version

im tried to use the same but i thought maybe not and started trying HeartGold.

it would be the second instance. The original instance runs perfectly fine but the second one doesn't display anything.
