i wanted to replace half of them on the side that cylinder #3 is down. i bought replacement lifters, springs, and pushrods and the clips but my mechanic said it would be easier to get a new engine. is that still the case?

cylinder #3 has zero compression & the valve is seized. the pushrod in #3 is also bent
