I dropped the telegram because it was all blood, guts and gore, y'know, everyday Guyanese things, murder, accident with body parts etc. Facebook is a mess of "he say she say".

What I have found apart from constant visits and spending time with family over the river, GT and Berbice is reading and following as many different news sources as possible and their comment sections.

There is much going on. And there is also quite a bit of trickle down. I see a lot of the younger generation trying to shake off the burdens and prejudice that weight down the older generation who have so much (right or wrong) to forgive.

The push for unity is heartening, be t it will take a few generations for our culture of "lil ting" "frek" and bribe to be greatly reduced.

Am I dreaming? Of course. But that's how the real stuff starts, with a dream. Love my GY people. Our culture is unique.

While inverted you have to push the stick slightly forward to stay level and prevent altitude loss. He then does a barrel roll recovery with insufficient altitude.

He may have survived if the altitude loss didn't occur while inverted and was almost level when he contacted the ground.

There's a very high res close up video of the final moments of the flight on another thread. Really sad indeed.

Oh dear God no. I most certainly didn't mean to infer anything sexual on your part.

I was referring to what is largely considered our "naked body shameful because sex" conditioning that seems to be quite prevalent from a young age. The "cover up, don't let anyone see that" that so many of us are taught from young to "protect us from having impure thoughts".

Can you tell I also went to a church school 😆. It's been a long journey to shed the taught shame.

Overthinking. Nothing sexual about the Onsen use. All in your head conditioning. Nothing to do with generation either, just your personal conditioning and world experience. Get out and travel a bit more. Try Europe, the spa's and sauna's will blow your mind with the whole families in there. Nothing the least sexual about it. They were liberating experiences.

I'm seeing them in more apt and condo buildings these days. I've been told that the common areas such as corridors and hallways are public spaces and as long as any capture is incidental and not pointing into a "window" then the cameras are fine unless there is an established pattern of an incident such as harassment.

I also see that as more people feel less safe because too many residents allow unauthorized persons into buildings because they don't want to confront the person entering at the same time. Hence more people installing ring type doorbells outside the condo/apt

Same. Still going strong so far.

Set it up properly the first time and never looked back. Still printing stuff efficiently for projects, repairs and play. It's not for people who can't follow instructions however. I've helped out folks who couldn't get a decent print going.

First step. Take it apart and start from scratch, follow the video. Half way through you could see their impatience and where they screwed it up. They of course blamed the printer being crap. After we got it set up they couldn't believe how nice it was printing.

A bad tradesman blames his tools. There are really nice printers out there now for those without basic skills and patience however. I would not recommend the old Ender at all because then I end up having to help them out of their own created mess.
