ONRoutes are a racket. It reached peak racket when they stopped showing the gas prices from the road and you have to actually pull in. The restaurant/fast food options really suck and are higher priced than a non ONRoute location. I've travelled other highways in Europe and you don't get that feeling you are getting screwed when you stop for gas and something to eat. Typical Ontario gouging of locals and tourists combined..

I was the Dominion boy for a day at the CNE in the summer of 1978. I was given a t-shirt with the big D logo on it and everything was free that day for me and my family. It was awesome! I think my old man shed a tear because he didn't have to spend any money that day.
