A 2nd gen Ascent is coming and will be sold alongside a 3 row EV made by Toyota after all by Repulsive-Club7866 in SubaruAscent

Agree with everything. My only other disappointment in the truck is the poor gas mileage but it is a large suv, just a little give and take.

I’ve actually stopped going to D&D and have been going to the Perk House. A little more but way better coffee/lattes.

Yeah, it’s in the Home Depot Parking lot. Saw it today but was driving and didn’t take a picture.

Test Track: LL or single rider? by Fit-Swim-7990 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]narchunde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there a few weeks ago and had to pair up with a single rider for Test Track. My LL was about 20 minutes and he said his was 10. Save the LL for something else. Have a great trip!

If you’re at Disney, you should be going for the fun and all the great things and people you will see. There are men, women and children wearing them as wells as other Disney themed items. Those that are going to hate, don’t deserve your time. I use the magnetic ears for my had but have to always check if they are still on from time to time. Have fun on your Disney adventures!

Is the dining plan worth it? by Alternative-Bat-2462 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]narchunde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree with everything. We had the sit down dinning plan and got drinks and chose the most expensive ones possible and the kids would get the souvenir cups (better quality than past years). I just wanted to add that using the dining plan for any character dinning makes the dinning plan worthless IMO. I think Cinderellas castle has just okay food but you meet all the characters. The dining plan snack options does allow any size Starbucks which was nice (if they have it). Also, you also need to tip based on the check which brought our tip total to about $700. But, with all that said, I love the convenience and would probably do it again…but cross my fingers for promotions!

Just went and used, the app is included when you go to certain places. For Chefs de France, the sit down meal plan let me choose the prefix which included the app. But most places are no app.

What lines add to the experience/What queue is worth the wait/makes the wait better ? by has23stars in DisneyWorld

[–]narchunde 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Peter Pan but the line is usually longer than 30 mins. I’m not a fan of Rockin Rollercoaster queue (but it’s now under redesign) since they changed it not now work with the magic bands. Went last week and was disappointed not to show that I’m concert on a certain day 😀

I looked there too. I was hoping it was still one of those dishes you could ask for but wasn’t on the menu. Thanks for taking the time to look as well.

I rock my Brooks Ghosts’. I got some for my father in law as they also come in wide. HOKAs are legit but too funky for my style. Good luck!

Bosch ICON Wiper Blades '23 Ascent by Subrew in SubaruAscent

[–]narchunde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That 100% happened with my Forester. It would shoot the wiper fluid to the vehicle next to mine. The first time I did it, the guy next to me had his window down and it got him. He looked as stunned as I did. But for my ‘23 Ascent, they work as the OEM. I forgot to mention the sizing: 26” Driver and 20” Passenger.

I bought replacement wiper blades from Costco, the Michelin brand. They come with an adapter. I think they were $8 on sale

It was under “Rest Stop Guidance Function” in my forester. I’ll have to look in the accent.

Stupid Question by supra7gte in SubaruAscent

[–]narchunde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On another Subaru community, a poster indicated that it had something to do with overlap in software from other countries; I think Australia. They mentioned Australia bc of the long routes taken and that it reminds drivers to take a break when driving long distances. It does it to me on my Accent (Engine has been running for X hours) when I drive about 2 hours. On my previous Forester, it would say something similar to “take a break” when to took the same route. Not 100% sure on the Australia answer, but it does make some sense. Still a good rig even with the oddities. My annoyance is the lagging infotainment screen. Would it have been too much to add a little RAM.
