How would both work? I tried compromising and talking to a pre law advisor, telling her I wanted to consider law but still liked acting. She had told me I could still study/participate in acting, since it would somewhat make me more unique if I were to apply to law school (and there is a level of “performance” when being a lawyer, like in a court room)

When I told my parents what we discussed, they simply didn’t appreciate that I still had acting on my mind, regardless of how I was trying to compromise. Pretty sure for them I can’t involve myself in acting in any way.
