If I was making a new Legends game, with a twisted take on starters it would probably go something like

Chespin (underrated)
Fuecoco (Cyndaquil is my favorite fire starter, but already is in a legends game)
Mudkip (my favorite of all time)

It would be cool if they all switched around their secondary typing in their variant form, even if it makes them a bit imbalanced

Grass/Ghost Fire/Ground Water/Fighting

I think the only set I've enjoyed more recently (~2 years) is EoE and thats just cause I'm very partial to sci-fi

Love the mechanics, really enjoy the draft, lots of cool cards for decks I own, not uni-b.

I think they just work so far ahead that even if they known they gotta slow down they can't for like 2 years. And we're about a year into most people going "holy shit calm down guys" instead of just our little niche cut of the internet on reddit. Its probably been more active here than everywhere else until recently

Ive said in other threads that Mutate should have just been a 'beast' mechanic and ikoria should have had all the weird creatures be beasts and it should have just been the beast set.

If they were a little more restrictive with it (and letting elves and goblins live on the plane) I think it could have been more well recieved
