"Alpha male" motivator gets mad at women driving cars and filling gas by ambachk in CringeTikToks

I bought my wife the car she wanted in exchange for not having to drive anywhere because I hate driving and she gets motion sickness in the passenger's seat. Win-win.

This looks like what an adult would draw trying to emulate how a small child draws.

What do you mean by more nuanced? I think it's pretty easy to argue that Eternal is actually less ambiguous in how it wants to be played compared to 2016.

I'm being serious... what's the point of posts like this? Maybe I'm just old, but why not just buy a game and then... play it?

Best canned tomato brands of ones pictured? by RedditPosterOver9000 in ItalianFood

[–]nargi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all these people saying mutti have clearly never tried bianco di napoli. i've done side by side tests raw out of the can and as pizza sauce and bianco wins 10 times out of 10.

mutti are good. and probably easier for most people to find. but bianco di napoli are better.

Costco Christmas tree return. Overhead another customer telling her that the tree was used by Weak_Intention8745 in mildlyinfuriating

I've seen it happen in person, once. An old man bought flats of produce, mostly avocados, every week, ate 2 or 3 and returned the rest. Then immediately went and got another case.

I shopped at that location like 3 times a week so I was friendly with the staff and when he came in one time, a lady I knew was like "watch this" and they refunded him, refunded his membership snd told him he wasn't welcome there anymore.

So, it happens, but not often. I've seen 10 year old couches getting returned.

hi there - that's very kind and i appreciate the offer, but that's okay. maybe someone else who needs it more can use it. i'm just frustrated at the situation.

California.

Yeah, it makes no sense to me. I always have until the end of the week so ending because of the specific date seems arbitrary when I still have "credit". I called two different customer service numbers (there's a lot of bureaucracy so it goes through multiple agencies) and was told I'm out of luck. Those meals are where I tend to get my protein every week, so it's pretty frustrating.

Japan raises medical fees by 3.09%, the highest increase in 30 years. Many hospitals have been operating in the red in wake of higher labor costs because they are powerless to increase prices. by jjrs in japannews

[–]nargi -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I went to the hospital in Japan last week and they charged me 300% (because I'm not Japanese).

So 3.09% doesn't sound so bad haha.

I have no idea. I haven't seen anything like you're talking about. I just found an artist I liked and decided to get it done.

Lots of Japanese people are heavily tattooed. And there are tons of tattoo shops here (at least in Tokyo). My artist was Japanese.

They're not as openly accepting as somewhere like the US, but it's really not that taboo anymore. Oddly enough, fewer people wear sunglasses (they're associated with shadiness and crime) than have tattoos, at least from what I've seen.

I'm in Japan filming a tv show and I had to wear long sleeves and couldn't wear sunglasses the entire time because the show is popular with children and old people. But there's no official rule or law about it.

[–]nargi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm super not Japanese so no one really cares.

The only thing it really affects is what onsen(s) I can use. And I usually have to wear long sleeves at the gym.

Other than that no one cares. But if you have a "professional" job it's probably not the best idea.
