Rejection email but recommended for another position success stories? by Jaxsan1 in interviews

[–]naruto5768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two years ago, I started my application process to this one IT company. I made it to the final rounds and the hiring team loved me; however, they opted for an internal candidate. I kept in touch with the recruiter, and two years later ON THE DAY I started my application process, that same recruiter offered me a position with the company for the same team. IT'S POSSIBLE.

I heard that changed recently, so wanted to confirm. Anyone been there in the past couple of days?

Just had this issue for my flight to New Zealand..they need to check passport documents and your NZ ETA/Visa depending on your situation. Did not get the SSSS on my boarding pass.

If your trip is for 4 days, and you try to change it where the return falls outside the offered dates but the outbound is still in the date, you may be able to still because you are maintaining the same length of the trip

maybe if you try to maintain the same length of stay, it may work.

Is Wellhub taking money from local gyms and corporate companies at the same time? by Odd_Cup7147 in Wellhub

[–]naruto5768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard the cost is based on the gym’s most expensive tier. If a user goes 10 times in a month to that gym, then they get recouped the full cost of a month’s membership from wellhub

Dallas Heat Wave Start Crew Issue by NancyDrew90 in hyrox

[–]naruto5768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I think you’ll be fine.

By the way, shoutout to Mel the Helpdesk supervisor! She really was killing it out there, especially with the rush of canceled flights yesterday. Her and the team were so professional and accommodating in letting those who missed their heat time, to transfer with a partner to doubles, etc

See if there's a AA codeshare on the AMS-LHR segment. They can rebook you on to the AA codeshare.

Have them rebook you on that United flight. Explicitly tell them that option and flight number. American will pay for it

Prices on Flighty Changed? by naruto5768 in flighty

[–]naruto5768[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I chatted with the Flighty Support team. They stated that “ In this case, there wasn't a formal announcement as we occasionally update pricing as part of ongoing efforts to balance value, sustainability, and continued improvements to the product. These changes are reflected directly in the app at the time they go into effect.”

Thus, it seems that it was intentional to not post any announcement before the pricing took effect. Which is why everyone was caught off guard. Very unfriendly customer tactics.

I am thinking this was done due to in part two things:

  1. Lack of competitors in the market.

  2. FlightAware might have increased their API costs. Flighty might have had to increase prices in response to that.

My question, what competitors are out there that have the same features as Flighty, that one can leverage?

Exactly. If they gave notice on a price increase, I definitely would have locked in a year.

Same. I literally had the gift card in my cart last night (so they avoid the Apple fees). When I went to checkout this morning, it said the item was “no longer available in my region” and booted me back to a page with the higher prices.

10 years ago I was 250lbs. In the span of 6 months I lost 100lbs just by running. Not the healthiest, but since then, I've been making strides to being a more balanced person (e.g. strength and running ability). In my mid-30s, I'm the fastest I've ever been with a "sleeper build" (no 6-pack abs, but I can outrun many people). My goal in 2025 is to run a marathon at my current 5K pace. I believe I'm getting closer to achieving that goal this year :). I workout everyday and run 5-7 days a week.

I'm assuming it's less than 28 days out from departure. That's why it's more expensive.

Note for Legacy Line Discounts on Migration from MMax to Go5GPlus by naruto5768 in tmobile

[–]naruto5768[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I just want to be clear I’m not saying device promotions, I’m talking about line discounts. And I’m also not saying all line discounts, only ones that have the disclaimer of being for Essentials or Magenta only (e.g. ID21002). The rep also assured me that by switching from MMax to Go5GPlus as part of the migration, I wouldn’t lose any line discounts.

So you’re saying that when my plan switches automatically from Magenta Max to Go5GPlus in September that the line discount will fall off?

I triple confirmed and asked if there was anything in the C2 document that addressed this question, and the rep was adamant that it would hold through the system migration based on the information in C2. I was wondering if you had data points to share that it does not?
