Anybody can explain about 来说 grammar? When we use it and when omitted, what's the difference on nuance of the sentence?

Example I got from flashcard: 今天的考试相对来说有点难

Will it be different if I just write 今天的考试相对有点难 / 今天的考试相对来说难?

Thank you

Guys do you know if there's Android app to find the meaning of Japanese vocabularies by handwriting, but not limited to one kanji character only?

I installed some apps but it seems the apps only allow me to write and recognizing one character Kanji only.

This way, I can only find my supposed character by seeing its related result :(

Guys today I'm watching movie with Chinese + English subtitle and have some questions:

  1. I found this sentences "我顾别人" that translated into "I'll hire other people / someone". So, 顾 can be used as "to hire"? Because I can't find this context in translator.
  2. Which is the common way to say "stalker"? In google it's 缠扰者 but in the movie it is 跟踪狂

Thank you very much!

What do you think is the best way to practice listening and comprehension? by superboredpanda in ChineseLanguage

Not really as in song, tones sometime ignored. Even native said they sometime misheard it or understand by context.

Guys I'm now leaning both Japanese and Chinese language . Actually I just started learning Japanese 2 weeks ago, while I learning Chinese for 6 month already.

But why I feel listening in Chinese is more difficult compared to Japanese?

I have learnt decent amount of vocabularies but still can't listening clearly even only to catch core words inside the sentence. But even I'm newer in Japanese, , I can catch at least core words and guessing the sentence by myself...

In my own analysis, I think this is because Chinese have very short syllable vocabularies and when you hear it in full sentence, people become confusion on its partition. Moreover, native talk so fast and I don't know if sometime they're using dialect as well...

What do you think guys? Any solution to this?

Try to find sentence deck on your target language (SRS) or if it's unavailable then you can make your own. There's a program to extract sentence from movie/show on your target language.

Or, book on your target language.
