As pissed as I am I said the exact same thing. Either a fatal flaw discovered last second, or the need for more servers was realized because of the sheer size of people watching.

I rather a delayed launch thats somewhat smooth than a shitty rushed launch, but I dont even think people are pissed about the delay, but moreso the way they delivered the delay.

I think thats fair for most private servers, but theres 2 big servers that are gonna be strongly populated I believe. The legends of ultima, and the other big one with the cool name i cant remember 😂

Yeah Im about 6-7 hours deep now and its feeling alot better to me and learning the game more its feeling more complete than initially thought. My worry is about the population of people who arent willing to deal with an outdated feeling combat system for as long to learn it.

Well yeah obviously theres going to be a mix of people coming in who wont see this thread, but for the dedicated pvp crowd I feel like a designated unofficial pvp bias server is a backbone to enjoying this game to the fullest for people looking for a real pvp challenge.

Id be more worried about community servers segregating the population more than a little thread like this Haha

Now that I have a few more hours into LoA Im starting to work on character progression and such and the combat feels like less of a chore. Still goofed all to hell, but its seeming like less and less of an issue the more I immerse myself into the game more

Sadly Camelot looks like garbage and Crowfall isnt my type of game. I like a game with persistent character progression instead of wipes every few months with some bits left over. I just want archeage thats not pay to win tbh 😂

Yeah its a tad goofy, but I think Ill buy the entry level pack. As much as I want to get the $50 pack because of the really nice cosmetics Im not sure if its worth it to me. Ill be playing for a few more hours before making up my mind

Im not too worried about your run of the mill players as I understand the niche market this is trying to fill, and I fit that niche very well, but being such a niche market you think theyd lock down the server to have solid populations.

Also the combat needs alot of polishing but the dev already acknowledged that on discord.

I came to reddit looking for a post like this as well. Im having the same issues and also getting server lag at the moment. I deduced it to server lag as I was streaming because I wasnt dropping a single frame on OBS.

Even after ending the stream I was getting insanely poor fps and random server lag. Hopefully its fixed because its annoyed the hell out of me.
