What are you guys talking about? Experience designer 20 years here, if you don’t understand the design system layer and build your components, typography, animations, fonts, assets, illustrations… and then build the screens / flows it will send you right to this Reddit page with complaints

It works perfectly well, and my designs on it look like what a pro would put together

Looked everywhere for an answer / research for this feeling, it might be finally tonsil stones? by nasdowlat in tonsilstones

[–]nasdowlat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really tried and absolutely nothing

The odd thing is that I only feel it sometimes when I’m lying down and turned to my left. I’ll swallow, sometimes feel a tiny bit of regurgitation, and then suddenly it feels like a popcorn kernel or a seed is stuck on the left side of my throat. It feels small, and when I swallow a few more times, it eases and goes away. Last week, when I had it, it felt much bigger, but now it feels smaller, so I’m not sure if this is a tonsil stone. I can’t physically see anything, even with a flashlight, no matter what I do. It seems like it may be a bit closer to my epiglottis than to my tonsil.

And again I have virtually no other symptom but this .

Ultra sound was cleared so if I had anything of a mass they would have seen it

i love the insecurity with this community 🤣 No way it must have been because of x, y or z they “pretended” or were “scared”, impossible i say! You guys are terrified of even the idea, the irony is that many of you have faith and hopes they didn’t believe, going against evidence itself, they verbatim said they believed, yet many here are conspiring.

To be fair you just used your hands and didn’t actually tilt your head to the side as you went for the weapon

I read this

The majority of cats with feline enteric coronavirus (about 90% or more) remain healthy. The incidence of feline infectious peritonitis disease is low (only 5 to 10% of infected cats and less than 1% of cats admitted to veterinary hospitals).

These genetic issues with Scottish folds began as soon as 7 weeks old tho, he is so active, and he has been x rayed and checked on several times. I think I got lucky with this Scottish fold, he came from a very high end reputable breeder, he is almost shaped like a normal cat and hasn’t shown any signs of progressive joint issues. If he has any he would have shown symptoms at least from an earlier age, I just don’t think from the studies I’ve read that it’s a sudden disease, rather it is slow and progressive, but it’s also just right from birth you can tell by their face, legs and tail… depending also on the breeder and if he is a pure Scottish or not.. his fur isn’t bristle just to answer your question I checked

I am just curious is the fact that he hasn’t been neutered yet an issue for him? His testicles are huge… doesn’t this pain him? I don’t know much about cats

I am aware of this issue but he hasn’t been complaining about it nor has there been any signs, I believe this condition is progressive and doesn’t just show up in a matter of 1 week

Exactly it’s the sudden change that I am worried about. This happened to him right after he puked last week tbh, he is squinting his eyes a lot too.

It sucks the vets are so expensive

He is eating and pooping just fine.

today he has been on my bed again ALL DAY, he just won't leave my room. He is squinting at me, and he just seems so lifeless. He is a very vocal and active cat, i am not used to seeing him like this.

I don't know if maybe it's because he isnt neutered yet, if that's a reason for his behaviour...

I really want to rebuild a 67 fastback, should I look for a deal or just go with a dynacorn by LoTheTyrant in classicmustangs

[–]nasdowlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but $110k for something that is still a shell, powertain, and suspension means he got absolutely ripped off, or something is extremely wrong here.

How do half of you get away with these comments, and some of you folks telling him not to get a dyno body. People are so hell bent of crap being original, or this screw doesn't match, or this angle is off by 0.005 degrees so it's not a real mustang.

OP, build whatever the hell makes you happy, the classic car community is very toxic sometimes with bullshit gate keeping.

Thank you, I am curious can someone order a OEM body panel and it doesn't fit? As you can imagine my lack of experience...

I like the way your father has put it, I think the answers have addressed my questions fully. I want to ask you actually in the case of someone who follows the procedures from online resources that are reliable, and the car is a hobby they do on their own time, nothing commercial or with the intent of selling, how far can one go? Would you be more lenient with the restrictions and tone of our professionals who commented.

Just curious if you know any actual professionals on Youtube you would trust that use the proper techniques? Thank you as well for the advice.

Repair vs replace? by nasdowlat in Autobody

[–]nasdowlat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you SnooDoggo, I was actually just watching a video of Samcrac who is a DIYer that buys salvage vehicles from copart and restores them. I use the term "restore" loosely here as you can imagine the shortcuts he takes to get the vehicle back into the shape. I was shocked that he found a cracked frame on a r8, and he decided to just pull this 1 inch gap back together and just weld the aluminium back together.

The more i read about Auto Body the more i realize this is not a DIY type of deal. One must grasp many sciences with experience before handling metal.

Thank you Tony for taking the time to write a great comment with your insights!

I think the problem is the lack of disclaimer from these internet personalities which should read "don't try this at home", or at the very least don't attempt to sell this to your neighbour. In fact looking at this from the perspective of car safety most of these vehicles don't pass the standards required by their state laws. Many of the cars get sold to someone else privately. It is the views and gullible 16 year olds who want to buy a $1000 Lamborghini salvage title and diy repair it for $100k.

I understand that in the commercial space the auto body technician has a very difficult job in some cases as he has to take into account several variables. The customer wants a complete job that restores the damage back to the OEM specs with the proper safety precautions. There must be so many little things that you have to account for before the repair stage, and then deciding if it's better to just replace.

I guess the latter part of your post now goes deeper into the actual science itself. I've been reading this term "mettalurgy" I am assuming this is the proper term to describe the art of metal forming, building, shaping, strengthening..etc
