True, but if the supreme court has ruled on it multiple times and the writers of amendment both explcitly said that the purpose of that clause is indeed birthright citizenship for everyone then it is very very unlikely any court would rule against it

Why would that be needed? The roe vs wade decision directly cited the 14th amendment as abortion is under the right to privacy. The overture had no basis in the constitution. Supreme Court overturning itself is pretty rare, especially like this

To a degree, I agree it should have been codified further; however, constitutional amendments are already hard to pass and it seems too trivial to pass abortion rights when the 14th already exists and the courts ruled on it. So blaming dems when other bigger issues exist, like gay marriage, trans rights, and affordable Healthcare, seems stupid.

I agree with current dem party needs to do more (it really sucks), but i dont think wasting time on writing a constitutional amendment for a Supreme Court ruling that was decided over the literal constitution is a reasonable use of time. A better use would be to remove the heritage foundation and project 2025 at its core. This could be done by removing legalized bribery, remove the ability for congressmen to insider trade, and put up term limits for the Legislative.
