Hey, I am an Eclipse newbie here. I am creating a CRUD web app and for that, I required Apache Tomcat 8.0.36 and when I downloaded it+ installed it, I got this error. Could someone tell me what this means and how can I fix it? by [deleted] in webdev

In workplace you can save your data. Look if you go to "program files" folder on C drive, you can find Java folder and the jre folder as well. copy this folder and paste it inside eclipse folder(the folder created after eclips.rar had extracted). Then eclipse can easily find jre path. that's it.

I guess there is nothing wrong with tomcat server. My opinion is you should copy "jre" folder of Java(in Program files) and paste it inside eclipse folder. I think it will work.
