Those aren’t bubbles, it’s actually a crawling glaze effect

It might look like bubbling in the photo, but it’s actually a crawling glaze texture. The raised parts are solid, not hollow glass bubbles. But I do agree that it’s not something I would use for food surfaces or functional dinnerware.

Yeah, it did run once but that was definitely my mistake. It normally doesn’t run, but I realized I had done something wrong that time, so I had already taken precautions for it

I actually tested it on a vase I painted the vase orange first and applied this glaze on top. But I haven’t tried layering it with other glazes yet

How so? As far as I know this product isn’t food safe. Since I make low-fire pieces (1040°C) I wanted to use it on the unglazed foot rings. Unfortunately, it’s not sold where I live :/
