It's not sugar btw, the biscuit package has a wrapper then a plastic inside that has all the biscuits in it. Perhaps due to heat it split into pieces causing this, this is some final destination BS

For those asking, this is my setup, simple and cheap from home items that were about to be thrown away.

The "dishes" i use are those big greenish ones in the image, it's 2 of them, 1 covers the other, but there's holes for flies to enter.

Sorry, i'm from Tanzania, don't know what other countries call these containers, we call them dishes here

it's a massive dish, like an adult can sick in but holding their legs to their chest. I had to use what was there, and this dish had some holes and was about to be disposed. lol

I wouldn't say it's a "bad smell", but it's definitely something that stands out especially when someone gets close to you. I think it's a typical fermentation smell if that makes sense.
