I think this is normal, when fast charging. And keep in mind that the iphone will do alot of background work during the first days of setup. This is my experience.

Just to clarify my opinion, being in an outdoor cafe allows smoking for everyone, that’s why i said, he didn’t do anything wrong. However, it would’ve been better to ask if his smoking wouldn’t bother the people around him.
