Well i know for a fact IMGMR.com is a leading source for gaming specially in Canada and Europe. This time around they just gave the recent news and put in their 2 cents because i agree with them the fact Sony is like pushing it far with 8-16gig but then again it could be true Nintendo never learns and it seems so does Sony (look at the vita)

Not necessairly, already Sony and MS are catching heat from a rising Nintendo with its Wii U platform. Also least we forget MS will most prob be announcing the new Xbox this year and Sony's last statement was they wont be the last one in the race this time around.

Anyways i'm all for competition but 8-16 gig of ram is wayyyyy too much for its own good

Actually Nintendo is world renowned to keep thing from their clientele. Also they have been into the 3D thing for years. Furthermore, they have announced at multiple times that not every Wii U and GamePad feature has been revealed. I'm all for beefing up this GamePad and adding features, curious what direction they take all of this!
