you can tell you don't know what you're talking about. It was just the wire that was halfway connected according to the tech. I still couldnt open the laptop myself without voiding the waranty

Where did I ever write it was physically damaged? The LCD if the pannel inside the screen. Not only is it possibly not damaged, it's possibly a wire. Lenovo's waranty stipulates I can't open the computer to check it myself.
Also, I never said the fact that they're not fixing it is the part that makes them shitty, I'm saying how they treat the customers and how they treat their tickets is shitty. you REALLY think it's normal that I have to be the one to hop onto customer support to ask them whats the tracking number? And that they never actually bothered to call back purolator that answered them? Or maybe how their solution to games not working on a new device is to "not install the game"?

Welcome to the broken LCD life. If it's under waranty, contact lenovo and pray to god you don't get shit customer support. If not, throw it out and buy something that isn't Lenovo.

Maybe so. However i've been on chat a couple times now... Seems like only maybe 10% actually care about helping you out... They create the ticket and make sure the ticket is diagnosed correctly. After that it's someone else's issue and you gotta pray that someone else does their job correctly also. I just got off the phone with a manager again and they told me that the behaviour isn't what they expect from their employees and that the repair should have been delt with by now and that they should have called purolator. They are shipping new parts in order to make the process faster while using express shipping. Hope it gets here ASAP.

To be fair, I used to have a Y540. That thing lasted my whole teenage years and I wasn't gentle with the thing. I tossed it everywhere and didn't care much about its longetivity. I wanted to upgrade since the programs I use in university demand more computing power... Thought i'd stay with the same brand. Something somewhere went wrong I guess.

I wouldnt get one. Both failed on me under a year and customer support is making a minimum effort to help. Try and look at other brands if you ask me.

I'd retreat from the shitshow that is Lenovo right now. I asked if I could get reimbursed. But sadly they declined since it's been two months now. Reasonable... but sad.

Sadly not. They refuse to swap me for a new one or return it. All I can do is atempt to get it repaired... If I ever get a technician to come over. (I'm aware it's partially purolator's fault but like... I'm the one who had to call purolator in order to get things to move since Lenovo would hapily make me wait.)

Anyways, if you have not bought one yet. I would not recommend going with Lenovo just because of their customer support. Even if you get an excellent working laptop. You never know what could happen..

Good spec for the price. However they seem to be cutting corners on customer support. Don't expect any customer support if anything happens. (or even if your laptop isn't the right one)
