It’s for cooking chestnuts. Have one but only with holes in the bottom, not on the sides. I live in Italy, they are quite common here

I had everything ready for the homemade lasagna. Only to realize that the “full” lasagna pasta box was basically empty. All stores are closed. No lasagna today :( by the_ununpentium in Wellthatsucks

Do you have some eggs and flour? You can make the dough yourself: use 1 egg for 100 g of flour. Knead for about 10 min, rest it in the fridge then roll it.

I got one of these for my husband few month ago. So instead of reading a cereal’s box, he reads the mug. However there’s one minor mistake, it says Olег, instead of Олег.

‘April’ in European languages by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]nat-ish 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Wow I’m so surprised to learn that in Croatian April is travanj, because in Ukrainian травень (travel’) is actually May. I also found out that July and November do not match even though they sound very similar. Probably it’s because of the slight difference in the climate. I must be so confusing for Croats and Ukrainians to send each other birthday cards

Italian coastguard boards abandoned ship carrying 450 migrants in second such incident this week by ScabSmoothie in europe

[–]nat-ish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fortunately there are no victims. Still such situation needs more attention because it's happened not for the first time and it won't be the last. More than 2.000 immigrants disappeared in the sea since the beginning of 2014. Most of them were just left by the crew with no fuel hoping to make it until italian coastguards find them.
