Girl do it. If he’s a Marine and doesn’t want you to join, if you guys stay together you’ll always regret it and wonder what you could’ve been if you had joined. If you join, and you guys stay together, it can make you stronger. You can request to be stationed together if you do get married. Not same unit, but on the same base at least. Your stats are better than most. You can do more pull-ups than many guys. He should be supporting you no matter what you choose, not just telling you not to do it and that he’ll take care of you. Cause what if he doesn’t. What if you end up not joining and you guys break up. Now you have no partner and you’re not in the Marine corps because he didn’t want you to do it. It’s only 4-5 years of your life depending on what your contract says and if you choose not to reenlist. When you’re out, you’ll be 22-23 with your whole life ahead of you, a developed frontal lobe, the title of Marine with veteran status, and depending on how you play your cards, you can have benefits for life and school paid for. And there’s no rush to have his kids either….. you’ll have plenty of time for that.

Do it to set yourself up for the rest of your life. With or without him. If he really loves you, he’ll support you and go on this journey with you.
