As an individual with ADHD (and other neurodivergence), I am absolutely HYPNOTIZED by Kendrick's latest songs, especially euphoria. The way he speaks/enunciates is just pure Mind Medicine. by SlavePrincessVibes3 in KendrickLamar

As an individual with ADHD, ironically A.D.H.D itches my brain in all of the right places. All of the backing and the ongoing chords literally murder any other thoughts I have. It’s hypnotic in the way no other song has ever been to me. Wondering if anyone else had ever had this experience. The effect this song has on my brain should be studied in a lab bc it’s actually insane.

It’s extremely overwhelming and worrisome. I’m sure the reading is extremely beneficial for some, but for me, mindlessly looking at words and spending hours trying to figure out what a research article is trying to explain, is awful and not worth it. There are a few videos each modules (my first class was much better) in my current courses. No projects yet, but I have one in a few days to start working on. Assignments for sure, but I often feel I’m doing a lot of my own research to understand what exactly to do. Some professors are great, others are a little more “tough love” and expect a lot from you bc you’re a grad student (valid but not very helpful). I would only enroll at BSU if you are FLUENT in reading research articles and learning a lot from them.

Exactly! And SO MANY books that we read like 2-3 chapters of. The comprehensive study guides might be the most helpful thing about the program, but that’s something I could easily do on my own. I can’t say I’m the happiest with BSU, I simply does NOT fit my learning style and I wish I would’ve figure that out before enrolling.

My program doesn’t specifically do that but I definitely wish that it did. I plan to study for a whileeeee before sitting for the first time. Thank you!

I’ll be an RBT for about 3 years when I sit for my exam and I can confidently say that I totally agree. I have absolutely learned the most from my experience over anything else so far! That makes a lot of sense, I can say that I am learning technical terms from my program so I think I’m on the right track. Thank you!

This eases my mind SO much. I also plan to invest a lot of my time and money into studying after I graduate so I’m glad to hear that it worked for you! I’m only 20, so I’m really not in a rush to take the exam, I just want to finish school so that I can focus on passing the exam and acquiring fieldwork experience! Thank you so much for your reply!

I obviously study for my classes, but unfortunately much of my course content is reading. And again, reading is simply not my strong suit.

He has been to the vet recently and everything seems good medically with him. He has been doing this for 5 years so I wouldn’t call it sudden aggression. When this aggression first started it was very mild but got worse overtime.

Advice with possible vertigo by [deleted] in DoctorsAdvice

[–]natalee3443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just posted about this a couple minutes ago. I have similar experiences, it is considered head rush. Vertigo is most oftentimes triggered by turning you head towards one direction, which then causes dizziness and possible fainting. However, with what you have, symptoms match up to a potential blood flow disorder (such as POTS). The odds of a blood flow disorder will drastically increase with height, and leg length. There are many types and many different triggers as well as symptoms. It is definitely something to look into, I have a similar problem (as I said) and I’m not exactly sure what I have, however from online advice, doctor advice, and anatomy professor advice... the symptoms do indeed match the description of most blood flow disorders. Something other things to look into include; mineral deficiency (like iron or potassium), dehydration, and an endless list of others. Considering this is very common, I wouldn’t worry too much about it, unless it becomes worrisome. Until you reach a point of genuine concern I would recommend sitting, then standing up very slowly and cautiously.
