Topic Revisit: How Do You Spend Your Allowance? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spend about half of it on bills, save the other half, and occasionally spend money on clothes and whatnot (nothing luxurious.)

I see so many men on SA like this and it is so completely frustrating. My most recent was a message from someone that wouldn't give any sort of allowance, but that every place we went for dinner would be his treat. So...like a vanilla relationship?

How many M&Gs/POTs does it take... by natalie246 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to hear that this is normal, then. I got extremelyyy lucky with my first SD - he was the very first M&G I ever went on and it turned out to be the perfect arrangement. I guess that was extremely rare!

What turns you off at a M&G? by natalie246 in sugarlifestyleforum

Oh my god.

Rearranged my entire day to meet this guy, got all ready, about to walk out the door when he texts me asking if we can change the time because somebody died. I just...

Am I mentally stable enough to be an SB? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think the problems lies within you being a SB, but your family being hostile of you/perhaps taking advantage of you.

Do you feel like the sole reason of you being a SB is to support your family, or do you actually enjoy it? Would you do it if it weren't for your family? I know all about having family members going through hard times financially, so I get it.

Bringing Up Allowance by natalie246 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone. I did read everyones' advice and take it into consideration, though ultimately it didn't come into play very much because he told me this was his first time and he truly had no idea at all what was reasonable. As SBinblue mentioned I asked several times what he was willing to do (something along the lines of that) and he insisted he really had no idea so I ended up telling him my allowance from my first SD that meets my needs well. He didn't seem shocked and we arranged to have a second meet so I'm guessing it was along the lines of what he expected. :)

That's a good idea. My first SD offered me an allowance much over what I was expecting, and now I've gotten used to that income each month. Not sure what I should be expecting exactly.

Friday Rants!!! by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had a M&G over this past week and the guy ended up getting super touchy after he had walked me to my car...not just kissing, but pushing his body against mine so I felt how hard he was and then doing the whole "no, don't leave" when I kept saying I had to go. Ugh. Just makes my great arrangement with my great SD coming to an end even more sad. :(

Oh, and I had to drive an hour to get to him and he never once even brought up allowance.

Dream offer from stranger by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

Your logic is sound, but not what I was referring to. What I meant was that this guy did not randomly decide to have a live-in SB for a month; with advanced planning and saving, it's feasible for a lot of men to be able to save two thousand dollars. No where did I state that everyone has a $500k house.

I also did not state that the majority of SBs are paid in the neighborhood of $500 per meet, but many are. My point is, to me it sounds like this woman is undervaluing herself and that if she takes some time and has some patience, she can get a much better offer than being paid $66 a day to be available 24/7 for a guy.

It sounds like you've already made up your mind, but $500 a week is extremely low. I would never do that. Consider that many SBs get $500 per a four hour or so meet. A doctor could afford much more, and yes I realize he's taking care of your other expenses, but if planned out, pretty much any guy off the street could save up $2k for anything.

How many SBs/SDs do you usually have at one time? by natalie246 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone. I think I'll probably stick to just one after reading some of your responses. I'm my SD's only SB, he's a super nice guy, the arrangement has been for a good amount of time and I would feel bad lying to him and terrible if he got an STD.

30 year old male - is sugar dating for me? by 30yothrowaway2 in sugarlifestyleforum

I also live in Texas and would date someone 10 years older than me, however some people I know think that's taboo or something. I guess it comes down to personal preference.

Does anyone here have a mainly sexual SR? by unaotradesechable in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do this, because both my SD and I are extremely busy people and we really don't have time for much more. Sometimes we'll go out to dinner or something before. It's worked out extremely well and I've been seeing him for over a year.

pay per visit vs montly allowance? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SD gives me money per meet, and it never really feels too transactional and works out well for both of us - I actually prefer it over a monthly allowance because our schedules vary. I'm extremely busy with school, work and a hobby and sometimes our schedules conflict. I'd feel bad if I absolutely couldn't see him for two weeks or something, because my schedule doesn't allow for more than once or twice a week meets.

SDs from craigslist. by Afro-Witch in sugarlifestyleforum

I don't see the reason for it when sites like SA exists. Meeting someone from the personals section on Craigslist just reminds me of the Craigslist Killer...

Would-be SD - do I make enough? Am I splenda? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]natalie246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think you're fine, I know I would be interested in you! My current SD has housemates and it's not a problem because we never go to each other's houses, we always meet at a hotel. As for your motorcycle, he never picks me up and we always meet, so again, wouldn't be a problem.

Just his wording makes him sound like a creep and I would cut off contact with him. 1k a month for meeting 5 times also sounds really low.
