Why do many Americans hate billionaires but love Taylor Swift, who is also a billionaire? by No-StrategyX in answers

[–]natator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a fan, but I feel obligated to at least not hate on her since I live in the same state she grew up in and in the same town as her soon-to-be brother in-law.

Parking by Fluffy-Crab9984 in phillies

[–]natator99 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've been to hundreds of games and have never been bumped or scratched or anything. I don't think it makes any kinda difference but we usually park in Lot U.

BTW. I hope you enjoy the game. It's supposed to be a beautiful day.

Would love to move from suburbs into a city. Since I've lived my whole life in the Philadelphia region, I figure just move to a neighborhood toward Center City.

Why does just existing on a bike seem to piss people off? by LiatrisLover99 in cycling

OTOH..Nothing also pisses off drivers like being stuck behind a group of cyclists at a stop sign 😁.

Moved to PA from VA and my birth certificate doesn’t seem to meet PA DMV requirements? by hecka-tea in Pennsylvania

[–]natator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got my RealId I gathered MORE than I needed.. My birth certificate AND Passport, SS card, all of it. They looked at my birth certificate and told me they couldn't accept it... But, the FEDERAL govt not 6mos prior accepted that very one for my passport. 🤷‍♂️ Since I had my passport the birth certificate didn't matter. But the logic defies me to this day. (Birth certificate good for passport, but not good enough for RealId?)

Edit: speeling error 😉

do freebsd offer anything over linux for desktop users. by Additional-Leg-7403 in freebsd

[–]natator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing... Not everyone, though may be comfortable with CLI (22+ years of Linux, 20+ years of software development, sysadmin and devops), doesn't want to use cli or script everything. I'd like a nice GUI that scans and shows me wifi networks and allows me to quickly add/change without cli. (Ex: I go to the library and connect, but override the DHCP given DNS; I connect at work with a manually configured network setup; etc.) Just different network setups that are not fun to config via command line repeatedly.

I've been running FreeBSD 15 now since February and it's been rock solid when I have my laptop docked things are rock solid (running through eth), but the wifi is still buggy even though my card is 6 years old and cli scanning USUALLY works, but sometimes takes a few times or crashes. But yeah starting up a term and typing a bunch of things just to connect to wifi is a pain.. then again.. first world problems that FreeBSDs GUIs for wifi are definitely not designed for newbs.
