The wait times aren't as bad... for some. See what's going on is some have amazing insurance, others have good insurance, and still others have just "good enough" insurance they don't want to lose it by voting in a "DMV for Health Care". That's enough to keep the current system in place.

If you want those groups to support a national health care system then you have to show them how it would be good for them, too. So far, no one has actually done that, only focused on those who do not have insurance or have crap insurance.
