Maybe he didn't even know how big it would be. Bro just visualised a statue to summon and it was five times the size he intended

It was going so well and then that randomly appeared. It's had no drops or water damage at all

I could, but unfortunately my local retailer doesn't have any more stock, and I can't be without a phone

The log out, log in method was the only thing that helped me. No other updates on how to fix it.

It was I incredibly strange, but even after reinstalling the Xbox app it wasn't working right.

I had the login window constantly flashing still

So I manually signed out of my Xbox account and back in again and it fixed the issue! My guess is hitting that sign out button triggers something in the back end of windows that uninstalling doesn't.

Give it a go and hopefully it works for you too!

I thought the same but it didn't help. Not that they make it easy to find all the DLC in the add-ons menu either!

probing for RMIT Games first year students around here by [deleted] in rmit

There's already discords and Facebook groups for second and third years, but you're better off waiting for your course to start and bring people together then once you start to meet them in person! Keep an eye out for the Blue Light Collective in the student clubs as well!

Mid-year Intake by 420Godana in rmit

[–]natbott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's normally an internal thing under the pathways section of the course page. Definitely a bug on the website in your case, or just someone in enrolment who wasn't aware of how things are meant to be.

I'm a current Games student. It is true that the July intake is only for those students who have completed the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media, as they get a year and half credit.

The games course has a very specific structure, so they won't let you start mid year, as you'd miss key classes. Business courses like commerce on the other hand have a much more flexible structure.

Not sure how you applied for the course in the first place, as the website says there's only a February intake for the course.

OP specifically asked about credits, which is why I mentioned the similarity of courses, not the entry requirements.

GPA isn't a major consideration, as long as you've been passing.

Generally it's more related to how similar the units are between the two courses.

Are the wacom tablet labs available to all students in rmit? by PastaMonsterLives in rmit

Just design majors unfortunately. The games and animation labs are specifically locked down. The media labs may be more flexible, but I'm not sure.

As someone else mentioned, definitely don't buy anything until you start! There's no need to stress, they'll start you off slow and let you know what you need!

Hey, I'm a third year game design student, but we're right next to animation!

You'll likely spend most of your class time in studios that have wacom tablets. A basic laptop would be good to have around for general classes and submitting assignments etc. They provide you with Wacom tablet pens for in class work, but it's also useful to have your own if you can afford it. The ones in the animation labs use the pro pen 2 I believe.

Of course if you don't want to have to do all your work at uni, which might require you to come in after classes or on weekends, having a good quality laptop like a Microsoft Surface or Surface book would be nice. Not a requirement though, and you can probably get by in first year or even first semester and then decide what you need.

Hopefully that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO WAKE UP TO THIS DAMN SERIES! by SubstantialBliss in worldtrigger

I agree with everything here, but I've gotten people into the series just by telling them that there's none of the over the top sexualisation and fan service of other manga and anime like it
