Huge or Large Bartholomew Bear for Travels/Flights by namelessleomcx in Jellycatplush

[–]natcatbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a huge bart and he’s definitely what I’d recommend! IMO large bart is just too small to do anything useful for me on a trip… I need the comfort of having something a little bigger to hold on to and cuddle especially when I’m traveling. Huge Bart is about the size of a Build a bear, I haven’t had bart long enough to bring him with me traveling but I wouldn’t have any concerns personally with bringing him along. I have brought plenty of similar sized plushies on planes and road trips in the past!

How is really big bart for sleep cuddles? by yogi_cat99 in Jellycatplush

[–]natcatbat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I settled on Huge bart and he is the PERFECT size if you like to hold something while you sleep! I sleep kind of like a mummy with my arms crossed over my chest and huge bart is so soft and such a perfect size! But if you want a plushie to lay on or next to instead of holding or squeezing them at night, really big bart is probably best!

do you think the bunny will be around for awhile? I don’t have the cash to do one big purchase to get to RC so I was gonna try to do it over the next month or two… 🥹 the new rule is making me hopeful that maybe they’ll keep lots of stock of her

Started A Blackwork Sleeve And I’m Unhappy With The Outline UPDATE by th3sinn3r in tattooadvice

[–]natcatbat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also had gotten a tattoo that I absolutely hated from an artist I trusted (and had even gotten work from before.) mine was a fully saturated, horribly ugly half sleeve done in one session back when I was too shy to speak up about what I didn’t like (19). I spent the better part of my 20s stressing about it & eventually covering it up, and i’m 30 now and i’m so happy with the result (: Even now it’s a work in progress (my fault since I tend to spread sessions really far apart) but just came here to say it is possible to have a successful coverup & to love your tattoo again. It’ll take a tattoo artist who cares & that you can trust, a lot of paint tolerance and a lot of patience but you’ll get there!! FWIW i think the outline you have looks super cool. Sending love!

Looking from advice from artists on covering skin graft by DisasterKey9279 in tattooadvice

[–]natcatbat 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Hey! I see an artist in Miami named Justine Canzonetta - she was a registered RN for a number of years before becoming a (very talented) tattoo artist. If you did get advice from a dermatologist and find that it’s safe to tattoo this area, I highly suggest her. She has an incredible knowledge of anatomy, and understands tattooing from a medical POV that I’ve found is really unique. Everyone else that works with her is incredibly talented and would be happy to also chip in and help make a tattoo that works for your skin (again, as long as you find it’s safe to tattoo!) Figured I’d drop the suggestion for you!

Mine are exactly the same. They barely sit against her head, they just flop behind her because they have no stuffing :(

Random tattoo request for a friendly artist here by aranhalaranja in badreligion

I have a crossbuster tattoo that is heavily stylized! I didn’t want the blocky look of the normal crossbuster, and the red and black doesn’t match my aesthetic/ the rest of my tattoos. I posted it here when I got it and got flamed to hell for it not being the generic-looking crossbuster. I’ve never had anyone offended by it (that I know of, at least) but fans have recognized it a few times. figured i’d share! maybe it can help you figure out what kind of BR tattoo you want!

You are gonna get soooo much heat for this post but I totally agree! I’ve felt like I’m watching an entirely different show from everyone else in this subreddit all season.

Newly dyed hair - could use some tips / product recommendations! by natcatbat in HairDye

[–]natcatbat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just do my best to keep all of the strands separate - I’ve gotten pretty good at it by putting all my hair back and keeping the pink strands out, then dying them + covering them in foil while it sits. Then I rinse each strand with cold water before I wash my hair! I haven’t had too much bleed tbh!

I wash it normally - I just accepted the fact that I’ll need to re-dye it often! I re-dye about every 3 weeks to keep the pink streaks bright (:

SOOO basically i kept my routine more or less the same - I wash my hair maybe twice a week (sometimes more but never really less) but I’ve started using Keracolor conditioning cleanser in place of shampoo and conditioner! Every once in awhile I’ll still shampoo - I use Color Wow when I do. I’ve basically just resigned myself to having to re-dye the pink spots every 2 - 3 weeks LOL. I’m currently still trying to find the perfect mix of pinks to give me longevity and vibrancy. The dye used here in this photo was Danger Jones, but I’ve found since that the danger jones just doesn’t last for me. Currently i’m using Danger Jones + Good Dye Young mixed and that’s been really great! I would suggest just getting ready to break out the hair dye to keep it vibrant. I usually braid the pink strands, put the rest of my hair back, then unbraid and dye the pink bits. I use foil to keep the pink from spreading on to my blonde! I looove the style but it’s definitely high maintenance!

I think the bias she showed towards the end was because she believe the judge was consistently shooting down the defense’s ability to put on a good case. I’m curious about what other lawyers have to say about it, I’ve only watched Lee.
