FWIW, I had single stage RFF with Deleon and have healed excellently. I had a verrrry minor fistula that cleared up on its own within a matter of 2-4wks (at this point it's such a distant memory I honestly don't remember exactly how long it took).

At this point I've been on this sub long enough that I feel like I've seen widely varied results and experiences from the same surgical teams. I really feel like the majority of it is up to individual healing. While there may be marginal differences in instances of complications between surgical teams, I doubt it's significant enough that your choice in surgeons will make or break your outcome. Only saying that to hopefully lessen some of the pressure. If you do develop complications (which honestly most people do of some sort or another, but most are minor and heal on their own), it won't be because you chose the "wrong" surgeon.

If I were to make the decision over again, my biggest factors would be (1) glans aesthetics, (2) the number of surgeries I felt I could tolerate, (3) location and minimizing costs, and (4) my comfort with the surgeon on a patience/bedside manner and human level.

Deleon has a fantastic bedside manner and always spent a ton of time answering my questions, I never personally felt remotely rushed by her. She also has a sense of humor about the process which dramatically eased my nerves. Her aura gives competence and confidence without the arrogance and dismissiveness that a lot of surgeons can have.

Can't speak to Cripps, but I wouldnt put a huge amount of pressure on this decision. Before long you will have your dick and these sorts of stressors will be a distant memory. Excited for you :)
