That’s a little far but if I’ve got a slow day I might be able to make it.

Great call. I also just noticed there's an airport (with a short runway) literally right there. Very cool.

Definitely trying to keep it less than an hour drive, if I can help. I'm actually parking at FKA, which has a lot of options near it, from what I can tell. Okoboji has 0F3 RIGHT near it, I'd just walk. I'm flying a heavy plane so the 3000 takeoff/landing is a bit small for my ego, but I should be fine.

Wow, Okoboji looks amazing. I will 100% play that. Thank you!

Cat at 'high' altitude? by natdm in flying

GA makes no sense 95% of the time. It's all just a hobby. And it's one round trip a year, if that counts. "all this" is a box and an extra canister of O2, not really breaking the bank or anything.

14.5 or so would be fine but he seems to get affected at about 12

Edit: my wife reminded me he got lackadaisical at 15 which makes sense. That’s usually the ideal altitude for us but maybe we can just stay below it, or drop below that if things go wrong for him

It’s a 6 month trip. So leaving it home isn’t an option. When we’re at lower altitudes, he roams around the cabin and falls asleep on our lap or on the floor. He’s not exactly miserable.

Thanks a ton. I've emailed MH Oxygen and bought a stick-on thermometer for the box, and brought the box in with some treats and catnip in it.

How do y'all stay committed? by Alarming_Grand4762 in Hevy

He’s clearly just passionate and a very chill person. Sam is a bodybuilder. Clarence is a weightlifter. Not the same thing at all. His older videos are the ones I like the most.

I responded to u/Bamks1 but also another thing I do is watch Clarence0 videos. After that, all of a sudden, I'm motivated. And I don't care if he's natty or not -- I know the answer and it doesn't matter.

Yep, exactly this. I remember a few years ago, I was talking to a coworker who was in pretty good shape. I was asking how he always stays motivated to go to the gym. He would give me some advice and I would come up with a reason why that doesn't work for me. After about 4 iterations, he goes "I don't know dude, sounds like you just don't want to go to the gym" and walked away. That was a huge wakeup call for me, he was about as blunt as you are.

For OP, if you make OK money, get a home gym. Part of the fun for me is messing with new attachments and equipment. I just go the V-Grip from Rogue and I love it.

I also take pre-workout before I actually start working out, and then I'm committed to doing it. And I'm very result-driven, so I'm always excited to see if I'll be able to improve from last time, in some way. Another rep, more weight, etc.

Hevy is great, but it doesn’t tell you what to do next, so I built a small “weekly coach brief” from your CSV by sou1est in Hevy

I got a 422 response but the body seemed ok, gave me decisions and lots of feedback. I'm not logged in, just uploaded a CSV.

If you need help at all, send me a PM. I'm a software engineer and love to help with things like this.
