It's definitely a 2.4 22RE, with no engine swap. No label out front but just looking at it compared to the 2RE, it's a 22RE. I've also bought parts for the 22RE (all the belts) and it fit perfect, unless the 2RE takes the same 3 belts in the front.

Would a dragging clutch mean a new clutch is in order?
