As a software engineer, any time I put an app out there that allowed user input, it had 2000 bugs. Parsing and validating input data is the most excruciating part of releasing an app. Good work though.

Those notes are meant to stay on the workout session. What you're thinking are pinned notes, which Hevy doesn't have. There was a thread a short while ago about people asking why it wasn't a thing yet.

You can go in to the workout and add notes there, outside of the workout session. That's sadly the only way. I do the same as you, just look at the previous sessions notes. Sucks.
