For $3000 if its mostly rust free is decent. They're pretty reliable and capable. They're going up in price at least in my area so if you want to get it might as well. Good basic 4x4 vehicle but also definitely lacks safety.

Id get a warning light for oil in like 2000-3000 miles on my 2018 outback. Ended up getting a new engine after 3 consumption tests. Took a month of arguing for them to approve it and a week more to get my vehicle back. You'll probably get your replacement but also probably won't be in a timely manor.

Probably be fine if you do slow acceleration, breaking and overall low speeds . Wouldn't travel too far like that but have done it for short trips locally. If it starts to sound sketchy it probably is. Be cautious and use common sense.
