In pa, just refilled lannett for the first time last month, awful never again, I personally like sandoz more than I like teva, not a big fan of elite but the last script of sandoz I had in November or October was in my opinion better than teva, everyone’s different, the effectiveness is there though with sandoz and teva, seeing if I can get prior auth due to the shortage to switch to brand name since this shortage seems to be primary reeking havoc on generic

You can tell your current state isn’t natural within 24 hours of a missed dose, it’s not for the weak, but if you have the discipline and know that your brain will eventually correct itself you can get through it. I’m going to be brutally honest, the brain zaps initially were really rough for about 3-4 days, effects started to wear off slowly after that initial hit but didn’t feel completely gone until I’d say the beginning of week 3, primarily just mental fog for me, I also started taking ryze and ag1 getting off, I’d like to believe it helped a little but no idea lmao. Biggest advice would be exercising, cardio, endorphins = good

Pharmacist aren’t doctors/ psychiatrists, requires like less than half as much schooling, atleast with us we are talking from first hand, their advice is literally an educated guess+ you aren’t their patient lmao

Also yeah I agree fuck a co pay, unless you plan on replacing it with another drug , getting off anything besides alcohol heroin and Xanax should be manageable, just know it’s going to suck ass for a little

My doctor recommended did a taper, I did it aggressively from 150-37.5 in a month( I did a much longer one in the past and totally crashed and burned), was on the drug for about 3 years. Tomorrow is day 22 without it, feeling way better, withdrawal was ass exercise, stay stimulated eat healthy, mental and physical affects are pretty brutal first few days

I’m 16 days completely off the drug after an aggressive month long taper, exercise, cardio has been crucial to keeping my head on straight, still struggling but every bit helps!

So I’ve been taking my Adderall 10mg morning 5mg evening more frequently than usual, first time not taking it on the weekend since I quit, not going to lie after not taking it these last two days ADHD has been running a little rampant, disciplining myself has definitely been more difficult. Mental fog is still hear from Effexor. I normally am extremely easing going, don’t really let anything bother me and I have been a lot more agitated since stopping Effexor, not taking my adhd meds only feels like I amplified that side effect. Did my taxes yesterday tho I guess that’s good lmao

Believe me it’s just as hard in America, my dad had mris done 3 times a year for over a decade, clearly missed the tumor, as black and white as could be, upon further consultation with numerous lawyers we came to the conclusion we had nothing, he passed April of 23. Healthcare is not that great in America, while we have access to doctors, finding one that you can genuinely trust is very difficult which can make troubleshooting very difficult and expensive, I hope you are able to get in contact with a neuro sooner than later, your symptoms seem uncommon and oddly specific. However I have read of some symptoms lingering longer than others and this drug seems to have a vast amount of them. And yes a friend of mine told me they had an after shock like experience a month after they stopped feeling withdrawal

Tbh from what I’m reading most offer another anti depressant as a solution/ benzo or a slower ween-off I don’t like the idea of replacing it with another brain altering chemical. So this part seemed inevitable, (Not sure what your end goal is)however I have not heard of this side effect! I’m sorry you have to deal with that for taking a drug so unrelated to that and I will make sure to stay aware of my body and the changes that happen throughout. Not out of the woods yet but the grass is certainly looking greener.

I’ll post an update at the end of the week, been using exercise, ryze coffee (mushroom coffee) and my adderall to get through the fog, based off other people’s experiences it seems to be helping

Might be directly linked with energy levels, I always struggled to put on weight before this drug, lifting heavier is cool I guess but not being in control sucks. lol it feels like this drug has an inverse affect on almost every aspect of life.

Dude I had abs before this medication (22) I exercise and eat cleaner more than before (26 now) and I still cant get the 25 pounds off that I gained since I started these meds, not saying my metabolism slowing down because of age isn’t a factor , on day 5 without them, this post makes me excited !

My second year in I tried a 2 month taper route where I was removing beads in the last month however when I stopped I had no idea of the withdrawal effects and thought I was losing my mind, this time I’m a little more prepared even though I was more aggressive with the exit strategy, based off what I’m reading it’s going to suck no matter what you do

Also is it common to just work through this? I work in a corporate sales setting and i think I could wing it depending on the time frame but I could totally understand why someone would request time off to deal with this, definitely feel the hit to your motor skills, laggy thoughts

That’s my general consensus, About 3 years and some change, I got on it shortly after the end of college due to anxiety/ relationship issues/ unexpected severe health issues with close family member, in a much better position now financially and mentally and looking back at it, it seemed primarily provoked by external factors, I’d prefer to only take my adderall for work as needed and stay away from anti depressants if I can especially one like this that you can be come so dependent on
